BE PART OF THE RESCUE

Ruahine Animal Rescue runs on locals. Every dog and cat we help gets through because someone gave a bit of time, a spare room, a bag of biscuits or a few dollars a week. Here's where you could fit in.
No such thing as too small. A spare hour, a spare room or a spare can of cat food all count.

Cleaning, socialising, walking and training our rescues. Regular helpers are worth their weight in gold.

FOSTER

Open your home to a cat, kitten, dog or puppy until their forever family turns up. We cover food, bedding and vet care.

DONATE ITEMS

Food, crates, cages, leads, collars and toys. Drop-off spots are listed below.

FUNDRAISE

Bake sale, quiz night, raffle or a bucket on the counter at work. Got an idea? We'll help make it happen.

BECOME A MEMBER

From $20 a year, or regular giving from $1 a week. Members get the newsletter, a sticker and plenty of good karma.
